Crow Stitch is an artist collective woven together by care, resistance, and liberation. Guided by a feminist approach, we desire to nurture a creative ecosystem that blossoms with collaboration, exchange, fluidity, and a shared vision.
We moved from different countries to attend the same art and design institution. Here, we faced many challenges, such as navigating the trouble of a failing and indifferent art institution. We founded Crow Stitch to explore different ways of learning and creating together, to move away from the constricting isolation we felt and to create a space for togetherness. Through collective works, workshops, publications, and exhibitions, we aim to plant the seeds for a society we long for, watering this thirsty and fractured land.

At its heart, Crow Stitch is shaped by three multidisciplinary and multicultural artists: Yara Chaalan (1998, Lebanon), visual artist, Yegane Mehrzad (1998, Iran), designer and visual artist and Alessia Talò (1999, Italy), visual artist.
